Our Medical Review Process
Why we review content medically
Because this site discusses prescription medications, we hold content discussing how a drug works, what it treats, or general safety information to the same review standard used by other reputable health-information publishers: review by a licensed healthcare professional before publication.
Who reviews our content
Our medical review board includes:
- Mary Windle, PharmD — Clinical Pharmacy & Drug Information
- Chung Yoon, MD — Noninvasive Cardiology
- Bala Murugan, Medical Communications — Clinical Quality Assurance & Medical Editing
- Jill Seladi-Schulman, Ph.D. — Infectious Disease & Fact-Checking
- Joslyn Jelinek, LCSW, ACSW, RDDP — Behavioral Health & Chronic Pain
- Rachel Maynard, PharmD — Community Pharmacy & Medication Therapy
What gets reviewed vs. what doesn't
- Reviewed by a licensed professional: drug summaries and articles that describe how a medication is used, its side effects, interactions, or general health information.
- Not clinically reviewed (fact-checked against source data only): pages that contain only structured pricing comparisons with no medical claims.
Each reviewed page displays the reviewer's name and the date of their last review near the top of the page.
How often content is re-reviewed
Medically reviewed content is re-checked at least once every 12 months, or sooner if drug safety information changes.
