Privacy Policy

PRPharm (PR Pharmaceuticals, Inc., "we," "us") operates prpharm.com. This policy explains what information the site collects, why, and what choices you have. We are a price-comparison and information resource — we do not require an account, and we do not knowingly sell your personal information.

Information we collect

We collect as little as possible on purpose. Specifically:

Information you provide directly: if you email us (corrections, questions, feedback), we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use this only to respond to you.
Automatically collected usage data: once analytics is enabled on this site, our analytics provider (Google Analytics 4) collects standard, aggregated usage data — pages visited, approximate location (city/region level, not precise), device/browser type, and referring site. This is not currently active; this policy will be updated with the analytics provider's details the day it is. We do not use this data to identify you personally.
Local browser storage: the site stores one small preference — whether you've chosen light or dark mode — in your browser's localStorage. This never leaves your device, is not sent to us, and isn't used for tracking. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

We do not collect health information, insurance information, prescription history, or any information about medications you personally take. Searching for or viewing a drug's price page does not create a record tied to you.

How we use information

To operate, maintain, and improve the site (e.g., understanding which pages are useful).
To respond to correction requests, corrections, and questions sent to our editorial or corrections email.
To detect and prevent abuse of the site (e.g., automated scraping that degrades service for other users).

We do not use any information collected here to send marketing email, and we do not have a newsletter or account system as of this writing.

Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited technical data with:

Service providers that operate the site's infrastructure (hosting, analytics once enabled) — under terms that restrict them from using it for their own purposes.
Legal authorities, only if required by valid legal process.

Clicking through to a pharmacy or discount program listed on this site takes you to that company's own website, governed by their own privacy policy — we do not control or receive data from that transaction. See our Advertising Disclosure.

Your rights and choices

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Once analytics is active, you will be able to decline non-essential cookies via the consent banner described in our Cookie Policy.
All users: you can request a copy of any information we hold that's tied to an email you've sent us, or ask us to delete it, by contacting editors@prpharm.com.
Browser controls: you can block or delete cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings; doing so may reset your theme preference but won't affect the site's core functionality.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention

Emails sent to us are retained as long as reasonably necessary to address the matter raised and for our own record-keeping, then deleted or anonymized. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics data (once enabled) is retained per our analytics provider's standard retention settings.

Security

We use industry-standard measures (HTTPS encryption, restricted access to any systems that touch site data) to protect the limited information described above. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves — for example, when analytics is enabled. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
